Origin of the material
The hemp in this fabric was grown in North China, the organic cotton in India. The fabric is woven in China in a factory that is affiliated with the Fair Wear Foundation and complies to al European standards for dyes and chemicals used in the production proces.
Ecology
Hemp is a relatively easy to grow plant, which has hardly any natural enemies and does not need much water. The plant is therefore cultivated almost everywhere without using herbicides or insecticides.
