The hemp is grown, spun and woven in Europe.

Ecology
Hemp is a relatively easy to grow plant, which has hardly any natural enemies and does not need much water. The plant is therefore cultivated almost everywhere without using herbicides or insecticides. The variety used for this fabric (so called Mediterranean hemp) can reach 2.5-4.5 meters in height within 130-150 days, higher than other hemp varieties. Due to the rapid growth, weeds do not get the chance to develop. Another characteristic of Mediterranean hemp is the high quality of the fiber.
